We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, either directly through the app or by contacting us. This page explains what is deleted, what is retained, and how to submit your request.
How to Request Data Deletion

Use the in-app deletion tool
Scroll to the bottom of this page and tap "Delete my account". You'll be asked to confirm by typing DELETE. This triggers immediate, permanent removal of your data.

Email us directly
Prefer to request by email? Send a deletion request to dankblossom22@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line.

Verification
For email requests, we may verify your identity by responding to the email address on file before processing. In-app deletion is authenticated by your active session and requires no additional verification.

Processing time
In-app deletion is processed immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days of identity verification, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Data That Is Deleted
The following data is permanently and immediately removed when you delete your account:
- Plants and all associated records (growth logs, health checks, environment logs)
- Feeding and watering history
- Uploaded photos and plant images
- Community chat messages
- Challenge progress and milestones
- Reminders and notifications
- Issue and bug reports you submitted
- Subscription records and billing preferences
- Your user account, profile, and display name
Data That Is Retained
Certain data is retained for legal, tax, and compliance purposes:
Payment & transaction records
Checkout session and purchase records are retained for 7 years to comply with tax, accounting, and financial regulations. These records do not contain your growing data — only transaction details (amount, date, product) and an anonymized user reference.
Moderation reports
Reports you submitted about other users or content may be retained until the moderation review is complete, to ensure community safety and integrity. Your identity as the reporter is not shared.
Aggregated, anonymized analytics
Non-personal, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be traced back to you are retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.
