This privacy policy applies to the Dank Blossom Grow Journal app (the "Application") for mobile and web devices, created by Dank Blossom Inc. (the "Service Provider") as a free and subscription-based service. This service is intended for use "AS IS". We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

Your data is encrypted and protected with industry-standard security measures.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

You can request deletion of your data at any time, directly in the app or by contacting us.

You have full control over what you log and can delete any plant or record anytime.

1. Information We Collect

The Application collects information when you download, register, and use it. The types of data we may collect include:

Account Details

When you create an account, we collect your email address, full name, account creation date, and subscription status. This information is used to authenticate you and provide personalized access to the service.

Usage Logs & Plant Data

Information you voluntarily provide, including plant profiles, growth logs, health check-ins, feeding schedules, environmental readings, photos, community messages, and reminders. This data is linked to your account and stored securely in our database.

Device & Technical Information

Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address), the pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, time spent on those pages, the operating system you use on your mobile device, and app version information.

Location (Approximate)

The Application may use approximate location data to fetch local weather information for outdoor plant care. We do not gather or store precise GPS location data.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • • Provide, operate, and maintain the Application's features, including plant tracking, health analysis, and community tools.
  • • Authenticate your account and manage your subscription and billing.
  • • Generate AI-powered health checks, growth insights, and data analytics based on your logged information.
  • • Fetch local weather data to help you align your care routine with real conditions.
  • • Send you important information, required notices, and service-related updates.
  • • Improve the Application's performance, usability, and features over time.

3. How We Protect Your Data

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain. This includes:

  • • Secure, encrypted data transmission using 256-bit SSL/TLS technology.
  • • Payment processing through PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processors (powered by Base44 Payments / Wix Payments). Card details are never stored on our servers.
  • • Row-level security so that each user can only access their own plant data and records.
  • • Regular review of our data handling practices and access controls.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We do not share your personally identifiable information with advertisers or data brokers. Only aggregated, anonymized data may be periodically transmitted to external services to aid us in improving the Application. We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who work on our behalf, do not have independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

5. Third-Party Access & Services

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies about handling data. These may include:

  • • Google Play Services — for app distribution and core functionality.
  • • Payment processors — for secure subscription billing.
  • • Weather data providers — for local environmental conditions.
  • • Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) — only when you choose to share content.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information as required by law (such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process), when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

6. Data Retention & Your Deletion Rights

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • • Delete individual records: You can delete any plant, log, photo, feeding record, or community message at any time directly within the app.
  • • Delete your entire account: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page. This action is irreversible and removes all your plants, logs, photos, reminders, and profile information.
  • • Request data deletion: If you'd like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at dankblossom22@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
  • • Opt-out: You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the event we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take the necessary actions.

8. Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use of the Application is deemed approval of all changes.
